Ken and Julie Maschhoff are part of the 5th generation to actively participate in the family farm business, The Maschhoffs. Both have held a variety of positions in their tenure with the Maschhoff family business. Currently, Ken serves as CEO and President of the company and Julie is the Director of Communications.

Julie Maschhoff grew up on a diversified grain, hog, and dairy farm near Okawville, Illinois. She graduated with honors from the University of Illinois in 1985, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Science. She joined the Maschhoff family business in 1989 and has held a variety of posts as the company has grown. Julie is a graduate of the Illinois Agricultural Leadership Program and has been recognized as one of Ten Outstanding Young People in Illinois by the Illinois Jaycees in 1992. As an active member of the Illinois Pork Producers Association, she has served on numerous pork industry committees on the state and national level. Julie is co-chair of the Clinton County D.A.R.E. program and is also an active member of the Illinois Ag Leadership Foundation.

Ken Maschhoff grew up on the family farm near Carlyle, Ilinois. Under his direction as CEO, The Maschhoffs Inc. has become one of the top pork production companies in the nation, producing two million pigs annually through a network of 250 family farmers. Ken received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Industries from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 1982, where he was selected “Outstanding Senior in Agriculture". He received the Service to Agriculture award in 2005 from the College of Agricultural Sciences at SIU-Carbondale. Ken is a graduate of the Illinois Ag Leadership Program and has served on numerous state and national boards on behalf of the pork industry. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Midland States Bank and Midland States Bancorp, Inc. At the local level, he is active in several church and community organizations.

Ken and Julie live on the family farm with their four children, Chelsey, Cassie, Ben and Sabrina.
