Ken Maschhoff is a fifth-generation farmer and currently serves as CEO and President of The Maschhoffs. Under his direction, The Maschhoffs has become one of the largest pork production companies in the world, producing 2.7 million pigs annually through a network of 300 Production Partners.
Ken received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Industries from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 1982, where he was selected "Outstanding Senior in Agriculture". He received the Service to Agriculture award in 2005 from the College of Agricultural Sciences at SIU-Carbondale. Ken is a graduate of the Illinois Ag Leadership Program and has served on numerous state and national boards on behalf of the pork industry. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Midland States Bank and Midland States Bancorp, Inc., First Light USA, and on the school board for Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School. In addition, Ken leads the Maschhoff Family Board.
He and his wife, Julie, live on the home farm near Carlyle, Illinois, with their four children.
