The Maschhoffs Donates Winter Clothing to Local Organization

Carlyle, IL (Nov. 29, 2018) — The Maschhoffs team recently pulled together a winter clothing donation for Matthew 25, a local food and clothing distribution point for families in need.

Shelby Rensing, Human Resources Generalist, organized the donation at The Maschhoffs’ headquarters in Carlyle, IL. Numerous employees joined in to donate nearly 1,000 clothing items that included everything from winter coats to hats, gloves and scarves.

“I was extremely pleased that so many of our team members donated winter clothing to help those in need,” Rensing says. “I love working for a company that prioritizes giving back to local communities.”

Though Matthew 25 primarily operates as a food pantry in the local Carlyle area, coordinators noted the winter clothing items will be distributed along with the group’s regular food distribution efforts.
