The Maschhoffs is a family-owned company that was founded upon a core set of values. Those same values are present today. And, the company's leadership team prioritizes those Core Values each and every day.

The Maschhoffs' executive leadership team and the board of directors work closely together to ensure the company is on a pathway for long-term success. Along the way, the company's leadership utilizes our foundational Core Values to guide decision making.

Board of Directors

The Maschhoff Family Foods Board of Directors is comprised of the company's four owners: Dave, Karen, Ken and Julie Maschhoff. The fifth board member, Jason Logsdon, is the former CEO of Maschhoff Family Foods. 

Ken and Julie Maschhoff

Ken Maschhoff, Chairman of the Board, represents the fifth generation of the Maschhoff family's farming heritage. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Industries from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He is a graduate of the Illinois Ag Leadership Program and has served on numerous state and national committees on behalf of the pork industry. He currently serves as the president of the National Pork Producers Council.

Julie Maschhoff, Vice President of Public Policy and Board Member, grew up on a diversified grain, hog and dairy farm near Okawville, Ill. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Illinois. Julie is a graduate of the Illinois Ag Leadership Program and has served in a number of roles in both state and national pork organizations. 

Ken and wife Julie live on the family farm near Carlyle. They have four children.

Dave and Karen Maschhoff

Dave Maschhoff, Senior Consultant and Board Member, represents the fifth generation of the Maschhoff family's farming heritage. Like his brother, Dave attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in General Agriculture. Dave is a graduate of the Agricultural Leaders of Tomorrow program and has served 10 years on the Clinton County Farm Bureau Board. He also serves his local school district and is an elder at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoffman, Ill.

Karen Maschhoff, Board Member, grew up on a grain and poultry farm near Germantown, Ill. She is a graduate of Kaskaskia College and the Agricultural Leaders of Tomorrow program. She has served on the board of directors for Illinois Pork Producers Association and the Hoyleton Children's Home Foundation. She is also active in the local school and church committees. 

Dave and wife Karen live on the family farm near Carlyle. They have three children.

Jason Logsdon

Jason Logsdon, Board Member, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois. He joined The Maschhoffs in 2003 as Chief Financial Officer. In 2012, he became CEO of Maschhoff Family Foods. In 2015, Jason left the company and started his own financial investment firm. As a Board Member, he remains committed to providing strategic insight for the company's long-term vision.

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Bradley Wolter grew up on a grain and hog farm near Evansville, Ill. Dr. Wolter holds multiple degrees from the University of Illinois: a Bachelor of Science, Masters in Swine Production Management and a Doctorate in Swine Growth and Development. 

Dr. Wolter joined The Maschhoffs in 2002 as the Director of Research and Technology. He was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2006. In 2015, he assumed his current role of President. In addition to his leadership role at The Maschhoffs, Dr. Wolter serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois. 

Dr. Wolter, his wife and two children live near Aviston, Ill., where they raise pure-bred black Angus cattle.

Chief Financial Officer

Jeff Diesen grew up in Highland, Ill., where he learned about properly caring for animals at his father's veterinary practice. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Masters of Accounting, both from University of Illinois. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Jeff lives with his wife and children in Highland, where he is active in volunteer programs, including coaching youth sports teams.
